Ann + Alex are the sweetest couple. I first met Ann and her entire family at their home right after they finished trimming their Christmas tree. Though I had to pitch myself to the whole family while sitting around their dining room table, they were so pleasant and charming, and not at all intimidating. Alex, meanwhile, turns out to be this big giant teddy bear. There really is no other way to describe him. He looks rather tough but it only takes a moment to realize that you just want to give him a hug. Their wedding was simple, beautiful, heartfelt, and gorgeous….a true class act.

There’s nothing quite like a beautiful summery garden wedding and there’s no place better than the Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park. Nestled in the neighborhood near Stanford University, this is a serious hidden gem. Built in 1929 in a Spanish mission design, the guild was created to provide a workplace for artists. Ansel Adams was the Guild’s original in residence photographer!
Ann + Alex’s First Look:
Alex had to take a few deep breaths to get through his vows. I nearly broke down watching behind the lens.
