One of my favorite places to photograph in the Bay Area, Cavallo Point is always ready for beauty of some kind. This time July served up a cold dose of fog and wind which didn’t seem to phase these two at all. It was so windy that you could hear it whistling through the microphones, hair blown everywhere, and yet the weather made it all the more beautiful, with rare little glimpses of the Golden Gate peeking out. Inside at Cavallo, there’s a warm fire and plenty of drinks and a very entertaining swing band, The Lonestar Retrobates, and two old souls getting ready to spend their lives together. Thanks to Rebecca of Be Hitched for keeping everything running smoothly, Chestnut & Vine for the always amazing florals, Stan for assisting me (some of his photos are below).

Love these pictures! It was a pleasure doing Shira’s makeup and hair this day! Beautiful!
