I adored Claire – and her mom – from the moment I met them. Relaxed, unique, and fun-loving, they wanted the wedding to be a casual but elegant affair that centered around family and friends. As a side note, they wanted everyone to have fun. Not a problem. Claire’s landscape architect friends pitched in to do the flowers, Brad + Claire’s mutual friend officiated, Claire’s coworkers who knew a thing or two about music were the DJs, though they had never done a wedding before. All completely amazing. Hands down best music at a wedding. And, oh, the groom. I didn’t meet him before the wedding and I was wondering what type of guy would be lucky enough to marry the lovely Claire. Brad was like throwback to another era, a tough, wise-cracking kind of guy but he completely wore his heart on his sleeve. As a photographer, I love this. Claire said to me confidently, “Oh, he’s the one who will cry.” This girl knows her man.

Dance floor pyramid. Brad + Claire are in there too, a tradition in their group of friends!!
Brad’s very pregnant sister, leading the conga line. She’s the very definition of spark plug.
Nothing made me more sad that I was unavailable for Claire’s sister’s wedding this year. Such a sweet, fun and loving family! If you marry off any more children that we don’t know about, I’m your girl.
