when i first met sophie and daniel, they told me the amazing story of how they met. about how daniel couldn’t take his eyes off her, about how his grandparents who were with him that evening encouraged him to pursue her, and how fate managed to throw them together twice in one night. that story was topped only by another amazing story of daniel knowing right away that he was going to marry sophie and tucked away a note with the date on it, asking her to marry him, and bringing it out a year later. 2013 was definitely the year of grooms that wore their hearts on their sleeves and daniel was on the top of the list. and how could you not, with the stunning sophie, who stole the hearts of every guest at their wedding with her beauty. their very intimate wedding ceremony was held with just family members in attendance at sophie’s parents’ vineyard at the top of this incredibly dusty, windy road to the literal top of a mountain. (not knowing anything about growing grapes, i think their grapes like growing on the side of hills). sophie and daniel are supremely magnetic, the kind of people who are always surrounded by others, and this intimate party exploded into a large reception at the mountain vineyard, complete with champagne sabering, a butterfly release and a magician!
