Jenny + Baelson’s beautiful Napa Valley wedding was at the gorgeous V. Sattui Winery, which was established over 100 years ago. A Napa Valley institution and frequent picnicking spot for those cruising down this infamous highway, it’s also a sweet place for a wedding. Think nice stone courtyard, vineyards, and a dinner reception in a barrel room.
These two have quite a fun history together. You may remember them from their Seattle engagement session here.
They met at a friend’s dinner party when both were dating others and Baelson had flaming orange hair. After many foodie dinner parties, Baelson’s charm and a tamer hair color finally wore Jenny down and they ended up at a concert alone together when their mutual dates bailed out. The rest is history. When I think back on 2011, it will go down as the year of the foodie. Jenny had a career epiphany and quit her high tech job to do an internship at Cook’s Illustrated. How incredible is that? I can’t wait to see what her future holds and fully expect that I will be invited to future dinner parties. 🙂

I saw this patch of sunlight and put Baelson in position + crossed my fingers that Jenny would walk into it. And she did. Sigh……
Baelson’s reaction to seeing Jenny for the first time was completely heart-on-the-sleeve, emotional, and can’t be sold in a bottle.
