About a year ago, I was meeting a client in the city for coffee. By happenstance, Lisa and Matt were there too, having flown up from So Cal to plan their wedding. They quickly figured out that I was a wedding photographer and Lisa sent Matt over to do a little clandestine sleuthing. This was not the easiest task as gentle giant Matt is 6’8″. I still haven’t figured out why they didn’t send Lisa who is 5’2″. They did not say a word to me then and upon returning home they looked me up, loved my work, and going with their instinct I was hired a phone call later. Matt also had an elaborate ruse to surprise Lisa when he proposed so secretive spy work is not out of the question for these two. Their fabulous wedding was held at Grace Episcopal Church in St. Helena with the reception at the incomparable Greystone at the Culinary Institute of America , fittingly also known as the CIA.
